Tēnei tūranga - About this role

You will be a critical leader in the Te Aka Whai Ora Data & Digital team helping to leverage technologies to transform the status of health for Māori for tangible outcomes.

We will require someone who is self-directed and willing to operate in ambiguous environments. You will also be able to work across multiple organisations, undertaking similar but complementary roles. You will be able to identify the opportunity for Te Aka Whai Ora to add value.

This is an opportunity for you to contribute to the laying of the strategic foundations for Te Aka Whai Ora.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or extensive evidenced professional experience in IT
  • Relevant extensive professional experience in the health sector
  • Skills that can be mapped to the industry SFIA framework
  • Experience working in a complex environment with a proven ability to exercise judgement in pressure situations with the ability to proactively resolve issues
  • Proven relationship building skills and welldeveloped communication skills
  • Proven ability in engaging and managing suppliers and vendors
