As an Associate SOE Engineer in our SOE team, you will work in multi-faceted customer environments and play a key role in assisting the design and implementation of End User Compute solutions customer environments, focusing on the Microsoft Modern Workplace.

This role requires you to ensure a strong technical fit of all solutions within the existing and planned environments. You'll gather, analyse and understand ICT business requirements and contribute to pre-sales engagements with clients.

We place a high degree of focus on developing our staff internally and offer financial incentives for engineers that certify in the technologies we use to support our customers.

Our offices are based in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure the consistent delivery of service and outstanding levels of customer satisfaction by demonstrating timely, professional, and attentive responses to customers
  • Escalation point for customer related queries, incidents or problems
  • Maintain documented architectural standards for nominated customers
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities within nominated customers
  • Input toward Statements of Work and implementation of small adhoc projects
  • Liaise with customers, other Datacom business areas and any associated thirdparties
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge and understanding of the benefits of relevant technologies including industry certifications
  • Perform upgrades on applicable hardware and operating systems as required/requested
  • Assist with the identification and implementation of shift left initiatives

You will have a solid understanding and experience in IT Support, Networking and Systems Administration. You have a keen interest to learn and see where modern technology advances will take us.
