As a community-based Neuropschologist, you will have a real passion and dedication to all aspects of service delivery and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with your clients and their families.

You will work with a wide range of people with illness, injury or disabilities, providing assessment and rehabilitation programmes within their home, work or community settings.

What you will bring | Nga tohungatanga mo tenei turanga
To be successful in this role, we are looking for the following requirements:

  • NZ Registered Psychologist under the clinical scope of practice and with current APC
  • Evidence of a minimum of two years' recent experience in acquired or traumatic brain injury; or training in brain injury, along with additional supervision, until two years' recent experience has been gained
  • A minimum of two years experience in supervised neuropsychological assessments and rehabilitation
- providing evidence of where and how this experience was obtained

  • Knowledge and competency to use and interpret neuropsychological tests to assess executive, attention, rate of information processing, memory, language and visuospatial functioning
  • Membership with either the NZ Psychological Society, the NZ College of Clinical Psychologists, or an international neuropsychological professional body acceptable to ACC
  • Clean Full NZ Drivers Licence with access to a reliable vehicle
  • Proficient computer and IT knowledge
