This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Advisor to join our Impacts and Evaluation team, supporting a unique function working to improve Māori data, research and information.
We work across the organisation to help teams understand and improve the effectiveness of programmes and initiatives.Actively embedding our MAIHI (Māori and Iwi Housing Innovation) principles into the team's role in leading the monitoring, evaluation, research and learning approach across Te Tūāpapa Kura Kāinga.
This role provides an exciting opportunity to take on interesting, challenging and rewarding work that can make a meaningful difference to housing outcomes in Aotearoa.
The salary range for this position is $98,749 to $120,693 + 3% Kiwisaver contribution.Mōu | About you
As a Senior Advisor in the team, you will be a self-starter, with the ability to plan and prioritise.
Your experience so far has seen you shape, plan and manage your work to deliver in complex and ambiguous environments.
You will be comfortable working with customers to understand their needs and able to achieve a good balance between time and quality when delivering the right solution.
You will also bring- An understanding of and comfort working with Māori (or Indigenous) values and principles
- Strong relationship building skills
- Substantial experience providing evidencebased insights to support decision making
- A customer focus that enables you to get to the heart of what needs to be known
- No fear of asking questions or saying 'I don't understand'
- Agility and flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities
- An understanding of Te Tiriti and the knowhow to consider how it applies to your work.
Te Tūāpapa Kura Kāinga - The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) leads Aotearoa - New Zealand's housing and urban development work programme.
