Facade Installer Assistant
Astatek 2000 Limited is currently seeking one dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as Facade Installer Assistant. As a Facade Installer Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our experienced cladding installation team.
You will be involved in various aspects of the cladding installation process, ensuring the successful completion of commercial, industrial, and construction projects.

Cladding Installation:
Work closely with experienced installers to assist in the installation of various cladding systems, including windows, aluminium composite panels, aluminium panels, tile cladding systems, and fibre cement cladding systems.
- Material Handling: Safely handle and transport cladding materials and tools to and from the worksite. Assist in organizing and maintaining an inventory of materials.
- Site Preparation: Prepare worksites by cleaning and clearing debris, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for cladding installation activities.
- Quality Control: Assist in conducting quality checks to ensure that cladding materials are installed accurately and meet the specified standards.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with the installation team, follow instructions from supervisors, and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Qualifications and Skills:
- At least fiveyear experience as Facade Fabricator/Installer.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality work.
- Willingness to learn and work in a teamoriented environment.
- Knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
- Must be willing to be assigned to Auckland, Bay of Plenty, Canterbury, Christchurch, Gisborne, Hawke's Bay, Manawatu, Wanganui, Nelson, Otago, Dunedin, Southland, Taranaki, Waikato, Wellington.
- Must be willing to work outside office hours (e.g., early mornings, late nights, and on weekends), as our job depends on permissible weather conditions.
Job Benefits:
- 35 hours per week of work is guaranteed.
- Starting minimum salary is $30 per hour.
- Competitive rates to be negotiated dependent on experience, can be up to $32 per hour.
- Immediate Start (for migrant workers, upon obtaining appropriate work visa and arrival in NZ).
