Dairy Goat Co-operative is a manufacturer, developer and exporter of premium, niche, and consumer packaged nutritional powders. About the role:

The Brand Manager is responsible for managing both consumer and corporate brands and leading various marketing activities at DGC. In this role, you will oversee packaging design, collateral management, brand guidelines, and architecture. You will also undertake general brand management activities and lead other marketing-related activities to support the Sales & Marketing Group.

About the day-to-day responsibilities:
  • Developing and leading the evolution of brand strategies.
  • Managing brand identity and adherence to brand standards.
  • Liaising with stakeholders to assess marketing needs and then developing and implementing agreed solutions.
  • Maintaining brand architecture, positioning, and proposition documentation for consumer and corporate brands.
  • Keeping up to date and aware of current consumer trends.
  • Providing input for the strategic direction of corporate and consumer brand websites and social media.
  • Growing the international equity of both consumer and corporate brands.
  • Liaising with suppliers and agencies to provide marketing support as required.
  • Keeping abreast of consumer trends and competitive landscapes.
  • Undertaking marketing development activities, including consumer research, as needed.
  • Providing leadership and oversight, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment, and ensuring alignment with departmental goals and objectives.
You will be tertiary qualified, with prior experience in consumer brand management, preferably within an export environment. You will be a self-starter, with outstanding relationship and collaboration skills, possessing a high level of cultural intelligence, influence, and gravitas.

You will also have outstanding commercial and problem-solving skills with an excellent understanding of consumer global trends. You will have a flair for written communications, you will think creatively, and be someone who can prioritise and change gears when needed. This is a full-time role.
