We are seeking someone who not only has a passion for libraries but loves to help others succeed to join the Student Success Team in the role of Library Assistant.
The key focus of the Library Assistant role is to provide outstanding library help desk service to UCOL_-_Te Pūkenga's students and staff.
This rewarding part time role working 14 hours per week is based at UCOL-Te Pūkenga's Manawatū (Palmerston North) campus.The Student Success Team's priority is helping learners achieve and succeed with a wrap-around support service.
As the Library Assistant you will display a high level of flexibility, excellent customer service skills, work well in a team, be confident with technology and enjoy a busy environment.
You will be assisting with the provision of library circulation, reference services, computer support and frontline customer service to all staff and students
During an average day, you can expect to spend most of your time on the library service desk being the face of our library.
You'll engage with staff and students, build relationships and assist with everything from issuing and returning books to finding resources and answering basic computer questions.
