Your day to day
As Club InterContinental Superviser, you'll lead the seamless operation of our award-winning Club InterContinental Lounge. You'll help lead the team to deliver a guest experience that is unique and brings the brand to life. You'll oversee the day-to-day operations, deliver an exceptional guest experience whilst maximizing revenue and profit.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain a high profile with guests, handle guest requests and complaints effectively and efficiently
  • Lead the food and beverage service in the lounge throughout the day, including breakfast, afternoon tea & twilight drinks, as well as front desk elements including bookings management
  • Anticipate guests' service needs, understand their needs and preferences and act on them whenever possible
  • Use your local knowledge and flair for making connections to build relationships with our regular Club members Recruit, train, coach and support all Club InterContinental colleagues

What we need from you

  • A vibrant personality and strong communication skills to build relationships with guests and colleagues
  • Experience hiring, training and developing staff with the ability to lead and inspire a team
  • Strong problemsolving abilities with the ability to collaborate well with others to achieve business goals
  • 5+ years' experience in a restaurant, bar or hotel environment with at least 2 years at a leadership level
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar, Managers License and LCQ Certificate
  • Luxury oriented, with attention to detail and the desire to exceed guest satisfaction
  • Availability to work shift work including morning, weekends and public holidays
