Reporting to the Assembly Manager, the Equipment Supervisors will lead the shift/team to deliver business objectives and targets to optimise company resources.

What you will focus on

  • Ensures completion of tasks in an effective and efficient way according to agreed objectives, budget, procedures, MPS and specifications; provides reporting as required.
  • Communicates, engages and develops team members and internal department to enable them to maximise their contribution to the section's performance.
  • Accountable for legal/ HACCP compliance across health and safety, food safety, security, SOP compliance, operating hours of teams and gateOPEX (inhouse operational excellence program).
  • Leads and participates in shift briefings communicates, engages and develops team members to enable them to maximize their contribution to the team and operational performance.
  • Carries out end of shift checks, ensuring equipment is shut down, shift issues are resolved, OPRS and Kronos are updated, and accurate handover is complete.
  • Responsible for the escalation and resolution of conflict and provides solutions and executes corrective actions.
About You

  • From 2 years' supervisory experience working in a high volume, manufacturing, food production, and/or restaurant/catering environment or equivalent experience in the related field is preferred.
  • Fluent English communication skills, (both written & verbal).
  • Flexibly in your work hours. Available to work on a rotational roster.
  • Experience of working in a fastpaced environment.
  • High School NCEA required.
  • Completed relevant Vocational training in food preparation, is preferred.
