Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Design and Implement software solutions across multiple platforms
  • Produce highquality code with excellent test coverage
  • Code reviews and Efficient and effective code maintenance
  • Analyse product requirements and break them down into user stories and tasks
  • Estimate and plan to assist with the development of the product roadmap
  • Mentor junior software developers
  • Develop, build, test, and deployment automation
  • Research and development of potential new technologies
  • Define processes and standards within the team and contribute to the continuous improvement of the product development process

Ideally, you'll have some of the following skills/experience:

  • Degree in a computer-related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Strong Ruby on Rails experience
  • MySQL, React/ES6+, Elasticsearch, AWS, Docker, and Ubuntu Linux
  • Be familiar with unit, integration and/or functional automated testing
