Mō tēnei tūranga | About this role
The Senior Advisor works as part of a small and fast paced Office of the Hautū.

They help connect the work across all the Corporate teams of the Ministry, provide engagement and communications advice, strategic insights, information and support to the Hautū.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has proven public sector experience and a solid understanding of the machinery of government
  • Experienced in a strategic advisor/senior advisory role in a large strategic or corporate team
  • Is an exceptional writer, who creates fitforpurpose communications and knows just the right way to connect the right messages to the audience
  • Builds fantastic working relationships with colleagues, customers and stakeholders
  • Is energetic, loves a fastpaced environment and is customer and results focused
Mātau rōpū ake | About our ministry, group, and team

Our group Te Pou Rangatopu is responsible for deliver essential services that enable the Ministry to operate effectively and help fulfil its statutory and reporting obligations.

Our group includes services like organisational strategy, governance, facilities, communications, legal, finance, procurement, ministerial reporting, sustainability, and people capability.
