We are currently on the lookout for a Business Operations Consultant. This is a fulltime role, permanent role based in our Wellington CBD office with flexible working arrangements available.

Job Description

Reporting to Senior Manager- Business Operations, as a Business Operations Consultant , you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to both our internal and external customers by completing administrative functions for our Life, Disability, Direct response, and Legacy products. You will be passionate about delivering excellent service and a memorable experience to our customers.

Day to -day you will be involved in:

  • Connecting with customers via email, giving clear solutions to customers that meet or exceed their needs and ensuring all customer enquiries are resolved in a professional, friendly, and effective manner, while maintaining empathy, customer confidentiality, and taking ownership of any problems that occur within SLA times.
  • Taking ownership for delivering better solutions to customers by monitoring and acting on customer feedback
  • Following procedures accurately and carefully to complete tasks
  • Monitors job processes and tasks to ensure high quality outputs for customers and staff.
  • Initiating action to correct quality problems and supporting continuous process improvement through feedback and ideas and contribute to the implementation of changes.

About you

With proven prior experience in a customer service focused role, you'll have a passion for being customer-focused, with a clear communication style (both verbal and written). You'll have high attention to detail and proven ability to build strong last relationships with colleagues and customers. You have mastered the ability to work towards deadlines, prioritise and manage multiple work requirements at a time and pride yourself on being a strong team player
Together with this you will bring:

  • A minimum of 1 years' experience within Customer Services within a similar role and environment.
  • Strong Microsoft office skills and ability to work with various platforms.
  • Experience or knowledge within an insurance environment would be advantageous
