Description

The purpose of the Construction Team Leader role is to manage the end-to-end installation of pools and associated equipment. This means leading the installation team ensuring that work remains on track and is undertaken to the highest standard, and that priority is given to timekeeping and efficiency. This is also a hands-on installation role, and at times a physical role which requires a good level of fitness and a strong focus on health and safety for you and the team. The role also requires regular liaison with the customer ensuring strong communication is maintained regarding project updates, and ensuring issues are elevated as necessary.

Your ability to build strong and trusting relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders including customers, suppliers and the Narellan Pools team will underpin your success in this role.

About you

  • To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Building/construction experience (a Trade Qualification is desired but not essential)
  • The ability to lead and engage a small team (2 to 3)
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety compliance requirements
  • A focus on productivity and efficiency
  • The ability to read scale plans
  • A good level of physical fitness
  • A high level of personal presentation and a professional approach
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • A high degree of honesty and integrity
  • A current First Aid certificate is desirable.
