This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week.
The remuneration for this role is $67,382 (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience.
The opportunity

At Wellington Water, our graduate programme will help you make the move from being a graduate with huge potential to being a high achieving young professional with a head-start in the water industry.

To enable you to learn and build experience, you will be rotated through multiple areas of our business which will provide you with an introduction to the overall operations and maintenance activities for the water supply, wastewater and stormwater networks.

Your skills will be engaged across a broad spectrum of activities including administration of maintenance activities, contracts, budgeting, investigations, auditing and managing minor capital works projects.

Over time you will gain experience and confidence through our adaptive leadership program and become a really valued part of the company.

This is a special opportunity that will take you places you never expected as you define a career path surrounded by experienced professionals.

About you

To be successful in this role you will bring:

  • bachelor's degree in Engineering (equivalent to a Washington Accord dgeree)
- the desire to collaborate and engage with a broad range of people, valuing a customer service focus
- excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- a pro-active approach with a health and safety mindset
- a current NZ driver's licence.
