About the role
As SkyCity Hamilton's Logistics Manager, you will provide high-value leadership and support to our small but mighty logistics team and the Hamilton site operational teams, to ensure high quality inventory control, logistics of goods/stock from suppliers, and accurate and timely administration of system transactions and logistics documentation are maintained. You will also be a point of liaison, providing support and guidance between the SkyCity Hamilton business and SkyCity Group Procurement and Purchasing teams.
This position requires someone who will lead from the front, working on the floor alongside their team, so a willingness and ability to take part of the physical and manual handling aspects of the role is a must.
This is a Full-Time opportunity, working 40 hours per week.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will also bring;
- Previous logistics/warehouse operations experience
- Team supervisory/management experience, with the ability to effectively delegate tasks
- Excellent written and verbal English communication & interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to undertake the manual handling requirements of the position
- Computer literacy - Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Procurement and Sourcing module would be advantageous
Due to licencing requirements, applicants must be aged 20 years or older to be considered for this role.
