Are you a dynamic Registered Anaesthetic Technician who is keen to expand or extend their career into a leadership role as an Associate Clinical Charge Technician (ACCT)?


The Department of Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine has as an
ACCT role working across our two sites - Middlemore Hospital and the Manukau Health Park.


As a key team member, you will have:

  • A current Medical Sciences Council APC and current ACLS certification
  • At least 3 years' experience as a registered anaesthetic technician
  • Experience managing and supporting staff
  • Experience coordinating staff to meet the needs to the operating theatres

The role includes:
- efficient day to day management of our Anaesthetic Technician services
- ensuring the provision of the highest quality of anaesthetic assistance and care of perioperative patients.

  • Clinical workload, so you are able to maintain these skills covering both elective and acute services
  • Joining our leadership programme
  • Locally led ACLS training
  • Ongoing clinical sessions.
