This role will be leading a small team, to develop and deliver training for all staff to ensure that they are equipped with the knowledge to perform in their role effectively.

You will be a member of the Engagement Group management team. You will also need to foster strong and cohesive relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

  • Experience championing futurefocused work programmes with digital and blended solutions that people can use to drive their own development

  • An understanding of Learning Management Systems and how to utilise them effectively.

  • Excellent facilitation and coaching skills.
  • Proven collaborative and consultative approach with a strong customer service focus.
  • Experience leading a high performing, multidisciplinary team and gaining commitment to continuously improve in a complex organisation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills able to communicate credibly verbally and in writing and influence and engage senior stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of current New Zealand public sector practice, the context in which public sector agencies operate, and the challenges they face.

Depending on skills and experience the salary is expected to be between $119,700 to $179,550 with 149,625 being the mid-point.
