Geospatial Intelligence Analyst

Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating geospatial and imagery intelligence reporting in support of NZDF and Government activities;
- Manipulating and analysing imagery and geospatial data, using specialist software and databases;
- Developing, enhancing and providing feedback on team production and processes; and
- Liaising with and working alongside personnel from other NZDF units, other government agencies and international partners during routine daytoday activities.

We are looking for someone who has:
- 3+ years of experience working with Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) and/or imagery analysis;
- Experience using ArcGIS Pro or RemoteView software, familiarity with Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint;
- The ability to interpret, evaluate and use different sources of data and information;
- Strong analytical thinking;
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to produce written reports, graphics and briefings; and
- The ability to effectively work with counterparts and stakeholders both inside and outside the organisation.
GEOINT New Zealand's (GNZ) role is to provide imagery and geospatial intelligence to NZDF, supporting policy, planning, operations and training in order to meet NZDF outputs.
GNZ is also the national and international lead for Geospatial-Intelligence in New Zealand, providing imagery and geospatial intelligence to government departments and other customers.
