About the Role
Due to ongoing growth and transformation, we are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the Highbrook and Albany branches. This is a newly created key leadership role that will oversee a critical function within the business.

As the Operations Manager, you will drive continuous improvement and best practices across all aspects of operations and warehousing, including people management, job planning, relationship management, and health and safety. You will work Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work as needed.

About You:
We are looking for someone with experience in the relocations and/or furniture removals industry. You should have a proven track record in operations management and mentoring others, demonstrating a hands-on approach to overseeing and assisting with daily staff management.
  • Experience in operations management within transport and logistics
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Experience with labour and materials cost management
  • Strong planning and scheduling skills with proficiency in computer applications
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Excellent conflict resolution, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain internal and external customer relationships
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand
