About the role

We are looking for a talented Database administrator with a flair for donor care to join our new fundraising team.

This role will play an important part in setting up how we record and maintain accurate data related to fundraising in our CRM system.

Alongside managing donor data you'll spend your day providing donor care to our new donors when they get in touch.

Part of a small new fundraising team you'll also play a broad role in how the team will develop as it gets set up.

You'll need to be able to work autonomously and collaboratively both within the fundraising team and in the wider organisation.

This is a full-time role based in our Greenlane office. We have flexible working hours and working from home options.

We ask for flexibility from you to help our small team with low-key donor events and other activities as needed.

About you
You enjoy working with data and keeping records accurate and up to date.

You are process and systems driven and ready to lead the design and implementation of new data and donor care systems.

You enjoy solving problems and are comfortable building relationships with a wide variety of people.

Any experience in the disability or fundraising sectors - either in donor care or with databases - will be a great advantage.

To be a success in this role you will bring:

  • Sound experience in a data administration. Knowledge of e-Tapestry database or similar would be a real plus
  • A highly organised, approachable and collaborative working style
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Empathy and a genuine desire to work in an organisation focused on disability

About Spectrum Foundation

Spectrum Foundation has been established to address inequality of access and opportunity for disabled people and their whānau head on.

We are a strong ally to disabled people, their whānau and communities, working alongside them to ensure more of their needs are identified and met.

To deliver on this ambition and meet this profound need, Spectrum Foundation funds new initiatives not currently available or where there are barriers to access.

Our new fundraising team will assist this work by finding new partnerships and financial support for these initiatives.

We seek applicants from all backgrounds to ensure we get the best, most creative talent on our team.

What's in it for you?
This role is important in ensuring the success of our future fundraising activities.

Your work to set-up and establish a new fundraising database will be integral in ensuring our fundraising programmes have accurate and timely prospecting data and reporting.

We will provide full training and a thorough induction to set you up for success.

We'll reward your innovation in the role with plenty of development and opportunity to take on more responsibility over time.

How to apply
Be sure to include a cover letter about why you'd like to join the team.
