Our business is growing and we are now on a hunt for an experienced individual in the Traffic Management space to join the team in Wellington.


  • Reporting to the Business Performance Manager, as a Traffic Planner you will:
  • Provide temporary traffic management (TTM) design services
  • Support the wider Planning Team
  • Create and submit traffic plans, ensuring they are accurate and contain key information
  • Ensure all documentation produced meets required legislation, Code of Practice for Temporary Traffic Management (CoPTTM) and client requirements
  • Liaise with all RCA's and stakeholders as required for Traffic Planning

Who we're looking for

Working in a fast-paced environment, it goes without saying that you'll be comfortable handling pressure and will be a good problem solver.

Ideally, you will have Traffic Management in-field experience or have worked in a similar position and comfortable liaising with people at all levels.


  • We're looking for an individual who can ideally demonstrate the following:
  • Full class 1 drivers licence and an STMS Class A or B
  • Experience in Traffic Management space with knowledge or experience in TMP design will be advantageous
  • Knowledge and understanding of CoPTTM
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal including negotiation skills
  • Knowledge and proven experience working on Traffic Management software such as RapidPlan and/or AutoCAD (preferable)
  • A high attention to detail, time management and adaptability
