The CAF Inpatient Unit is a 16-bed regional unit which covers the South Island and works with people under the age of 18 with mental health problems.
Our service is about to move into our new purpose built facility at Hillmorton which will offer you a beautiful environment with all the modern specs of a new building.

Where you fit in**In this role, you will be involved in the effective and efficient running of the Child, Adolescent and Family Inpatient Unit.We are looking for someone who is warm and welcoming, displays a high degree of task priority and flexibility, able to remain calm under pressure and is comfortable working with vulnerable people.
You will be responsible for greeting and meeting patients and whānau as they come into the Princess Margaret Hospital.In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing great service and direction to customers, staff and whanau on Reception
- Communicate to patients as well as internal and external stakeholders in person and on the phone
- Typing of meeting minutes
- To maintain data on Healthlinks (SAP) system and Patient files.
- Setting up and maintaining of all filing systems
- All aspects of administration

- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Knowledge and experience in Winscribe would be beneficial
- Data entry skills

- Attention to detail and accuracy
