The Role:

Based in our Auckland Office this opportunity will form part of our specialist drafting design team.

You will be working and collaborating with experienced engineers and experienced drafters/modellers, providing drafting support and mentoring to the team across a wide variety of engineering projects.

This role will require you to have a solid understanding specialised drafting skills and will include working with a solution focused, highly collaborative and efficient engineering team.

Working as part of a highly collaborative team, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Structural drafting and modelling of infrastructure and building engineering projects in Revit / AutoCAD of varying scale and complexity to the required standards
  • Conduct and coordinate internal reviews and checks of drawings and project documentation
  • Liaise with BG&E project team of engineers as well as with other consultants and contractors as required
  • Mentor and guide other structural drafters

Essential to this position you will have:

  • Drafting or Civil Engineering study background
  • Experience using AutoCAD & Revit
  • Solid experience Revit
  • Willingness to learn new skills on the job
  • Exceptionally high attention to detail
  • Strong time management and prioritising skills
