We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Business Partner to join our People and Capability team.

This position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced generalist to provide consultative support to New Zealand Red Cross.

Senior Business Partner

Senior Business Partner is a key role will partner with people managers to lift capability and support the organisation in achieving its strategic goals.

This role provides specialist HR support and advice to managers throughout New Zealand Red Cross.

To be successful in the position, you will:

  • Experience delivering independent pieces of HR project work as well as working collaboratively across HR and business teams
  • Skilled in influencing and building relationships across all levels of an organisation
  • Ability to create, implement, manage, and improve services so they are right for the organisation
  • Highly effective communication skills, both oral and written,
  • Happy to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strategic in your thinking but peoplefocused in your execution, and you can educate and influence leaders to follow suit.
  • Attention to detail and completion of an appropriate amount of work

Expectations from the role

  • Provide education and coaching on HR legislation, policies, and practices
  • Work collaboratively with key staff on engagement and feedback initiatives
  • Contribute to and sometimes lead the development of policies and procedures, and other HR projects and initiatives
  • Contributing to our learning & development culture
  • Working collaboratively with key staff to instil New Zealand Red Cross values into people, systems and processes
  • Creating, reviewing, and updating HR related policy and processes
