We are currently seeking a Senior Landscape Architect / Urban Designer to support the Cities & Places - Placemaking Team to deliver urban development and infrastructure projects across ANZ.

This role will support the team to deliver design and reporting for master plans, precinct / structure plans, development guidelines for Cities and Places market.

The role will also entail the fostering of good client relationships, attendance at client meetings and presentations, and bid support to secure new and repeat work.


This Senior Landscape Architect / Urban Designer will perform a design coordination role on projects, managing the interface between our clients, Jacobs multi-disciplinary services, our Placemaking team members across ANZ and our Global Integrated Design (GID) colleagues.


Here's What You'll Need:

  • University Degree in Urban Design or Landscape Architecture
  • Extensive industry experience working on established projects
  • Experience working at a senior level providing guidance and advise to junior staff
  • Technical skills in 2D and 3D drafting, modelling and design. High quality graphic presentation and writing skills.
  • Ability to maintain and establish strong client relationships by demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and successful delivery through meetings, workshops and presentations
  • Business Acumen
  • Industry knowledge, design and development guidelines of urban or landscaping, sustainable built form and feasibility metrics.
  • Excellent report writing and project management skills
  • An interest in making a difference in the world and meeting new people.
