Marsh McLennan is seeking candidates for the following position based in our Auckland office:

Onsite IT Support Analyst

A unique opportunity exists to join the dedicated and high performing Marsh & McLennan Global Technology team.  Reporting to the Supervisor â Onsite Technical Support, you will primarily be responsible for providing technical support, training and guidance to users. This position works closely with a broad range of internal stakeholders and other IT staff both locally and globally. Support is provided to our colleagues in person desk side, remotely and via our walk up service, TechStop.

This position will suit a highly motivated and pro-active individual with a passion for technology and providing excellent customer service and follow up to key stakeholders.

We will count on you to:

  • Respond to and resolve requests and incidents within a timely manner and appropriate level of urgency to exceed Service Level Agreements whilst providing an outstanding customer service experience.
  • Assist in the installation, training, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of desktop technology hardware and software.
  • Management of moves, adds and changes of desktop technology hardware for single user, multi-user and office moves.
  • Producing and updating relevant documentation.
  • Apply a logical, methodical and analytical approach to manage and support desktop platforms and related peripherals to provide optimal availability and cost efficiency.
  • Ad hoc project work involving the application of systems analysis techniques, researching technology options and colleague consultation.
  • Be an ambassador of the TechStop â our walk up in person support solution.

What you need to have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a Technical support role
  • Ability to communicate effectively to a diverse stakeholder group.
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills.
  • knowledge of Windows-based Operating Systems in addition to the Apple Mac Operating System
  • Knowledge of standard PC software/applications (i.e. Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft OneDrive, Anti-Virus, Email, Drive Encryptions, etc).
  • Understanding of Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange environments
  • Solid understanding of remote connectivity issues, such as VPN, Zscaler, Citrix, VDI and wireless networking
  • Asset management experience within an IT Asset Management Framework.
