Fundraising Coordinator

About the role

Prostate Cancer Foundation NZ, a leading charity dedicated to supporting those affected by prostate cancer, is seeking a talented Fundraising Coordinator to join their dynamic team. This full-time position is based in our Albany, Auckland office, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to our important mission.

What you'll be doing

• Providing administrative support to the fundraising team, ensuring seamless operations
• Assisting with the coordination, execution and growth of peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns and events
• Provide support, guidance and encouragement to community fundraisers by email and phone
• Provide excellent donor care
• Supporting the development and implementation of fundraising strategies
• Collaborating with the wider team to achieve fundraising goals
• Contribute to the organisational culture

What we're looking for

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for supporter care
• Customer service experience, preferably in a fundraising or not-for-profit environment
• Experienced in fundraising, events, marketing, or supporter engagement with a not-for-profit organisation would be an advantage
• Experience using peer-to-peer fundraising platforms (e.g. Funraisin, Grassrootz, Raisely)
• Competent in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Interest in and desire to learn about and incorporate the Māori worldview in the charity's activities
