Cedenco Foods NZ Ltd is a progressive food ingredients manufacturer with processing facilities in Hastings and Gisborne. Cedenco supplies domestic and international customers with diverse range of value-added natural fruit and vegetable ingredients including siled and diced apples, pastes, purees and juice. With a new Fruit Ingredients factory, we are in exciting times

We want to hear from experienced technicians or recent graduates who are passionate about food manufacturing and laboratory excellence. We are looking for motivated individuals with excellent attention to detail. This is a fixed-term role to provide parental leave cover to start mid-January 2026.

About the role:

The role will be responsible for:

· All aspects of sample management, including retention and sales sample preparation

· Calibration of factory equipment to document ISOP standards

· Project analysis

· Micro testing and quality controls to ensure our customers high specifications are met

· Assisting with audits when required

· Providing training to other member of staff as required

What you will need to succeed:

· A passion for the NZ Food & Beverage industry:

· Excellent attention to detail

· Strong time management to ensure deadlines are met

· Strong communications skills (both verbal and written)

· Microbiology skills and experience

· Experience with Gas and Liquid chromatography preferred

· A range of other Food Laboratory Analytical techniques

· Computer literacy

· A 'can-do' attitude
