BSH Home Appliances is looking for a motivated Apprentice to join our Field Service team in Auckland. This is a long-term apprenticeship pathway designed to build your skills, knowledge and experience to become a qualified Electrical Appliance Service Technician.

This role is ideal for someone hands-on, eager to learn, and looking for a practical career with strong technical training and support.

Job Description
What you'll be doing
  • Supporting Field Service Technicians with in-home, workshop and installation work
  • Learning to service and repair household appliances under supervision
  • Completing internal and external technical training and trade tests
  • Maintaining tools, spare parts and stock levels
  • Completing daily service paperwork and apprenticeship logbooks
  • Providing professional, customer-focused service in the field
  • Working safely and following all health & safety procedures
What we're looking for
  • NCEA Level 1 (Level 2 an advantage)
  • A genuine interest in electrical, mechanical or technical work
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Comfortable using tablets or basic computer systems
  • Strong time management and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn, take direction and work as part of a team
  • A reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic

Trade exposure (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, gas or similar) is helpful but not required.
