We are looking for a graphic designer to expand into Auckland

Would you like to have the best job in the world? Wait, what's that? Idyllic is hiring for an experienced Graphic Designer, what a coincidence (wink).

Do you want to spend your days crafting elaborate, creative brands and websites?

Yes? Good because it's true, we are hiring an experienced creative, YOU (well, hopefully).

Idyllic is a bold and creative agency in Central New Plymouth, but we service clients all over NZ and across the globe. We're looking to grow our customer base in Auckland and are searching for the perfect Graphic Designer to fit our dynamic

We're a team known for pushing boundaries, working with incredible clients and having an awesome team culture.

Who are we looking for?

  • Someone with strong agency experience (Minimum 3 years)
  • Someone with the gift of the gab - who can meet and present to clients (or potential clients)
  • Someone with great time management, tracking time and delivering projects on budget
  • Someone passionate and motivated in the creative industry
  • Someone with experience in UX design and what makes a website convert
  • Experience in in-depth brand identity development
  • Not scared of AI and the future of design
  • Someone with outrageous ideas

Bonus points if:

  • You know how to work a camera
  • You could hold your own in the odd sales call

The role we're looking to start early 2026, and you'd fly to Taranaki for the first week to spend with the team. You would be placed into a co-working space in Auckland to begin with, with the aim of opening our own studio in Auckland in the coming year.
