Are you ready to advance your career in the dynamic field of IT support? Abano Healthcare is seeking a motivated and proactive L2 Support Engineer to join our dedicated trans-Tasman team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in managing and resolving service requests and incidents, ensuring seamless IT service delivery across our Brands.

Job Description

As an L2 Support Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and resolving service requests and incidents in a timely manner. Reporting to the IT Manager, you'll guide users on troubleshooting across various platforms and technologies, ensuring a seamless IT service is provided to the entire Abano Healthcare Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide friendly, professional, and timely support to users on hardware, software, and other digital equipment.
  • Respond to user-level equipment failures and be a point of escalation for technology issues within the organisation.
  • Ensure assets, operations, and procedures are followed and well-documented to maintain operational excellence.
  • Maintain a high level of cybersecurity awareness and assist in educating staff to make secure choices in their digital operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience working within ITIL framework (desired).
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a L2 Support Engineer.
  • IT certification in Computer Systems or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong customer focus and exceptional communication skills.
  • Technical competency within IT systems and frameworks.
  • A technical, logical thought process with problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stick to strict deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively.
