About The Role
As the MCC Manager, you'll be responsible for setting and executing the strategic direction of our Metrology & Calibration Centre (MCC), aligning with the broader goals of Geotechnics and the T+T Group. You'll lead a talented team, drive innovation, and ensure we continue to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the MCC team to deliver high-quality calibration services.
• Develop and implement strategies to grow our customer base and expand service offerings.
• Manage day-to-day operations and plan for future growth opportunities.
• Meet and exceed financial targets.
• Foster strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Identify and implement digital solutions to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
• Represent MCC on the Geotechnics Management Team.
• Work in alignment with our Quality Management System and ISO17025 standards.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience preferably in metrology and calibration or other ISO17025 laboratories.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, projects, and commercial outcomes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Technically specialised with a problem-solving mindset.
• Well-networked and active in industry forums and professional organisations.
• Work well within a close-knit, collaborative team environment.

The Measurement & Calibration Centre (MCC) is a leading provider of IANZ-endorsed and in-house calibrations, offering a fit-for-purpose, quality service in a timely fashion. We calibrate civil engineering equipment such as impact testers, Schmidt hammers, shear vanes, nuclear density meters, and a wide array of measuring tools.
