Located between Mt Maunganui and Pāpāmoa, Pacific Lakes is a forward-thinking development that reimagines retirement living with  a focus on wellbeing, sustainability, and community.

Opening in December 2025, The Pavilion will be one of the largest and most dynamic community hubs in a New Zealand retirement village. Set to become the vibrant heart of Pacific Lakes, featuring a café and brasserie, lounge bar, library, art studio, billiards room, beauty salon, wellness suite, and a large versatile space for events and gatherings - all with stunning lake views and resort-style warmth.

We're building something truly special, and we're looking for passionate, customer-focused hospitality professionals to join the team.

About the Role

We are recruiting F&B Supervisors and F&B Attendants. You'll enjoy a variety of tasks, including:

  • Coffee making and barista service
  • Table and bar service
  • Customer engagement with senior residents
  • Supporting events and functions

The Experience

A successful candidate will ideally be:

  • Passionate about customer service and enjoying work with senior residents
  • An all-rounder with a keen eye for detail
  • A proficient barista
  • A warm, professional, and well-presented communicator
  • Experienced in bartending (preferred)
  • For F&B Supervisors: holding a current Manager's Certificate (preferred)

Applicants must currently reside in NZ and be able to work with NZ residency or a valid work visa. Police vetting is required.

A blend of full time and part time roles will commence progressively from mid-November, ahead of the Pavilion's opening in December 2025. The hospitality precinct will operate 7 days a week with some evening service.
