Job Overview:

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products, services, and processes meet defined standards of quality, safety, and compliance. This role involves developing quality control systems, performing root cause analysis, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain product excellence and customer satisfaction. In addition they would serve as a subject matter expert on regulatory standards, company policies and quality tools.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO standards.
  • Ensure documentation, procedures, and records are properly maintained and compliant.
  • Participate in external and internal audits, supporting regulatory and certification requirements.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Manage non-conformances (NCRs) and lead root cause investigations.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a quality, compliance, or regulatory role.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.)
  • Proficiency in QMS software and tools for root cause analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA, etc.).
