Excavator Operators – North Shore & Silverdale Finishing work specialists wanted for ongoing civil project

The Labour Supply Co is expanding our team of skilled machine operators and we're looking for experienced Excavator Operators who take real pride in their finishing work. If you can trim, shape, cut to levels, and leave a site looking sharp, we want to hear from you.

These roles are based across North Shore and Silverdale, supporting reputable civil contractors with ongoing projects. You'll be operating well-maintained 5–20 tonne machines and working alongside crews who value reliability, safe operation, and getting the job done right.

What you'll be doing

  • Operating excavators for bulk earthworks, trenching, backfilling, and detailed finishing
  • Bulldozer experience also an advantage
  • Cutting to levels and delivering tidy, accurate finishing work
  • Working both independently and as part of a civil crew

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience operating excavators (5T–20T)
  • Strong finishing and trimming capability
  • Good understanding of civil construction practices
  • Reliability, good communication, and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work unsupervised and maintain high-quality output
  • WTR or Class 2 is an advantage, but not essential for the right operator
