Connect Interiors, are an established Auckland-based subcontractor specialising in ceilings, acoustic solutions, insulation, and flooring for commercial projects across education, office, apartment, retail, and hospitality.

We're growing fast and are on the lookout for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our supportive and skilled team. If you enjoy variety, teamwork, and being hands-on across multiple trades, this could be the perfect opportunity to take your career to the next level.


What you'll be doing

  • Preparing detailed take-offs and cost plans from drawings and specifications
  • Helping compile competitive tender submissions
  • Liaising with main contractors, consultants, and suppliers
  • Supporting project delivery by organising materials and labour
  • Working closely with project managers and site teams to monitor and manage costs
  • Identifying and managing variations and assisting with monthly claims

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years' experience in subcontractor-side quantity surveying or estimating one or more of our trades
  • Strong Excel skills (experience with Planswift or similar tools is a plus)
  • Solid technical knowledge of construction methods and trade packages
  • Accuracy in measurement, BOQ preparation, and pricing
  • Great communication skills and confidence working with site teams
  • A proactive, commercially minded attitude
