We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Support Worker to join our team for 25 hours per week, working mainly Monday to Friday, with some evening, weekend, and occasional overnight shifts as needed. You will be leading and supporting our Kapa Haka rōpū, including organising practices, preparing for performances, and nurturing cultural pride and connection.
This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about empowering people with intellectual disabilities to live great lives and who can bring strong cultural leadership to our service.

If you're passionate about supporting people to live the lives they choose — and you have the heart and skills to guide our Kapa Haka rōpū — we'd love to hear from you.
- Someone with strong values, compassion, and reliability
- Experience in disability support (preferred but not essential – training provided)
- Confidence and capability in Kapa Haka leadership
- A team player who communicates well and works with mana and respect
- Full NZ driver's licence
- Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and overnights
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand
