is seeking candidates for the position of a
Financial Adviser
for a 12 month
Fixed Term Contract.
We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Mercer Financial Advice and Education Team. This role will be based in either Wellington or Auckland. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
In this role, you will provide personalised financial advice and education in regard to Mercer products and those of some of our clients. Your expertise will contribute to positive customer outcomes while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
We Will Count On You To
- Maintain and develop relationships with customers by providing tailored financial advice in accordance with Mercer's Financial Advice Policy and addressing general customer inquiries.
- Ensure all risk and compliance requirements are met in line with Mercer's compliance standards.
- Present at financial education seminars for customers, both in-person and online, to enhance their understanding of financial products.
- Contribute to a seamless customer experience by identifying and implementing service improvements.
What You Need To Have
- Relevant tertiary qualification in finance, accountancy, law, commerce, marketing, or a related discipline, or a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Studies (Endorsed in Personal Financial Planning).
- Hold the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) or the National Certificate in Financial Services (Financial Advice, Level 5).
- Experience providing personalised financial advice to retail customers, particularly regarding KiwiSaver and investments.
- Strong understanding of risk and compliance requirements.
