Who we are

Fox and Associates are fortunate to work with many interesting clients and on complex projects involving land development, spatial and rural surveying services. We are a multi-award-winning team including and have developed deep specialism specialisation in drones and state-of-the-art technology.

The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our friendly team in Canterbury (Christchurch or Mid-Canterbury). This is a role with plenty of variety, and lots of opportunity to develop. With 'top-of-their-field' senior staff and rural projects already established, we now want a suitably qualified intermediate surveyor to complement the team. This role comes with excellent support, guidance and the right projects to become licensed.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on your experience, you will have potential to be involved at different levels in a wide variety of surveying duties including:

Land development projects – including preparation of subdivision or resource consents, engineering design, construction supervision, subdivision clearances and liaising with external parties.

Cadastral surveying – including office calculations, field work, compilation of data sets, and quality assurance checks at each stage.

To be successful in this fantastic opportunity, you must have:

Excellent communication skills

Aptitude for developing lasting business relationships.

Practical aptitude with excellent 'in-the- field' problem solving skills.

Practical field work experience and physically able.

A Degree in Surveying with 2 to 3 years' experience.
