Refrigafreighters is in the business of keeping New Zealand's chilled and frozen goods moving efficiently. We're growing fast, and we're looking for a Sales Representative who's a natural hunter, thrives on learning, and is ready to be a driving force within our Sales team. You don't necessarily need years of sales or industry experience, but you do need a genuine interest in people, a sharp eye for opportunities, and a drive to turn "what ifs" into real results.

This position is based out of our Auckland office (currently Takanini, moving to Mangere in September 2026), with a focus on "hunting" and securing additional business from existing customers. The role is primarily Auckland based and may occasionally require some travel.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the key responsibilities are to:

  • Execute sales activities to achieve and exceed sales and margin targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Focus on customer engagement, satisfaction, and retention through high levels of service quality.
  • Analyse market trends to effectively position Refrigafreighters freight and 3PL solutions.
  • Prepare, present and negotiate quotes and contracts to maximise revenue and margins.
  • Provide regular reports to the CEO and Sales team.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Proven success in sales (Logistics/transport or FMCG background desirable but not essential)
  • Confidence, with the ability to influence, build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels.
  • Exceptional communication skills and personal presentation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Technology savvy and ability to learn new systems and innovative technological solutions.
  • Solid understanding of the local FMCG market, sales and negotiation strategies.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive approach to finding new sales opportunities.

This position includes a competitive base salary, life insurance cover, company profit share programme, and tools of trade (laptop, mobile phone, company vehicle and fuel card).
