Are you a senior employment lawyer ready for your next challenge in a high-performing and supportive team? A highly regarded employment law team in Auckland is looking for a Senior Solicitor or Associate (5+ PQE) to join their nationally recognised practice.
Key Responsibilities
This is a rare opportunity to join a collaborative and widely respected employment law team known for advising major corporates, public sector clients, and international organisations on complex and often high-profile matters. The role includes a healthy mix of advisory, litigation, and transactional support work, allowing you to shape your career around areas of interest.
You'll work closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers on a broad scope of matters.
You'll also be involved in supervising junior staff, managing due diligence exercises, and working with clients at the senior management level.
To Be Successful In The Role You Should Have
- At least 5 years' post-qualification experience (NZ qualified)
- A strong background in employment law (NZ or international experience welcome)
- A current NZLS practising certificate
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Confidence handling complex matters and working closely with clients
- A team-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for mentoring junior lawyers
