He angitūtanga / The opportunity:

We're seeking confident and service-driven Senior Lounge Runners to join our team at one of the prestigious Lounges in Auckland International Airport. In this senior role, you'll lead by example, delivering seamless food and beverage service, mentoring junior staff, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Your contribution will help deliver a world-class experience to our guests. Successful candidates can earn upto $30 per hour

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

• Provide full table service for à la carte dining, including menu presentation, order taking, and beverage pairing.
• Guide and support junior runners, ensuring efficient and professional service delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of lounge areas, including dining zones and amenities.
• Monitor and replenish buffet stations, beverage areas, and stock levels.
• Prepare and serve espresso coffee and alcoholic beverages, adhering to responsible service standards.

He kōrero mōu / About you:

• Strong understanding of table service etiquette and guest interaction.
• Physically fit, reliable, and able to carry multiple plates and trays confidently.
• Excellent communication skills with a warm, professional demeanour.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays, with a commitment to high grooming standards.
• Preferred background: Front of House roles in restaurants, fine dining, hotels, or concierge environments.
• You have strong food and beverage knowledge and bring an extroverted, confident, unforgettable presence - the kind of person guests remember.
• You're a natural multitasker with genuine hospitality energy and the experience to match.
