Hill Labs is a leading provider of analytical laboratory services in New Zealand. We are transforming how customers interact with us through digital innovation, creating platforms that make it easier to submit samples, view results, and self-serve. Our Customer Experience Development Team is focused on delivering solutions that increase customer engagement and reduce operational costs through smarter digital tools.

What you'll do:

In this role, you'll develop and support applications using C# .NET and modern web technologies. You'll work on website, API and mobile app projects that improve our digital platforms, enhance user experience, and enable seamless integration for our customers. Throughout, you'll leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and maintain high standards of quality.

This is a permanent full-time role, based in Hamilton, working Monday to Friday (40 hours per week), reporting to the Software Development Manager.

What you'll bring:

  • 2yr + experience with C#.NET, Entity Framework
  • 1yr + experience with React
  • 6mo + experience with AI assisted coding tools such as Cursor or Claude code
  • Experience with technologies such as HTML/CSS, MariaDB and AWS
