**About the role**

You will assist the transition to the smart flexible distribution network of the future, enabling WEL to realise its ambition of becoming a Distribution System Operator (DSO).

**About you**

We are looking for someone who has:

- A tertiary qualification in IT, Software Engineering or Computer Science, with basic knowledge of the Electricity Industry
- A minimum of 7 years software engineering experience, preferably in an utility environment
- Sound technical knowledge in Azure Cloud Architect, Linux and Windows OS, API Development, SQL, PowerShell, Python, Docker, Networking, C# development
