Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity 

Are you passionate about working in nature and making a real impact on critical infrastructure? We're looking for a Utility Arborist to support the operations and maintenance of our transmission lines and networks across the central and lower North Island.

You'll be part of both fault and emergency response teams, contributing to vegetation management and hazard identification, bushfire mitigation and environmental stewardship, planning and consultation with industry professionals and ensuring compliance with environmental, regulatory, and cultural standards.

Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills 

• Relevant qualification (Arborist Level 3)
• Experienced in vegetation and arborist work
• Physical stamina to carry out arduous manual work, often in trying conditions 
• Understanding of Land Owner Liaison processes and approach.
• A thorough knowledge of regulatory industry requirements including overhead distribution system (hazards from trees) regulations. 
• EWP Operation and Climbing experience
