Are you a hands-on leader with a love for tools, teamwork, and turning great customer experiences into great results?

Here's your chance to lead one of the stores for a 100% Kiwi Owner retailer - one of New Zealand's most trusted tool retailers. We're after someone with the right mix of energy, drive, and know-how to take the reins of our established store in Central/South Auckland and lead it to the next level.

At The ToolShed, you'll be backed by a proud Kiwi-owned business with over 30 stores nationwide and more than 27 years in the game. We live and breathe tools, both Trade and DIY, and customer satisfaction — and we're looking for a manager who does the same.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading a small, motivated team to deliver an exceptional retail experience.
  • Driving sales, margins, and store performance.
  • Managing inventory, merchandising, and supplier relationships.
  • Building long-term customer loyalty through genuine service and know-how.

This is a full-time Monday–Friday role (7.30 am–5 pm) with the occasional weekend shift when needed.

What you'll bring

  • Proven retail management experience and strong multitasking ability.
  • Solid product knowledge of tools and hardware.
  • Confident with computers and retail systems.
  • A natural people leader who can motivate and inspire.
  • A "let's get it done" attitude and genuine customer focus.
