About the Role

Our Emergency Department (ED) Clerical team is looking for a part-time Emergency Clerk to join us at the front line of patient care. We have 0.6 FTE and 0.7 FTE positions available hours/week) with flexible, rotating shifts across a 24/7 schedule so adaptability is key

The working shifts for this role are:

  • Day hours
  • Evening hours
  • Night hours

This positions primary function is to ensure the timely registration of patients who present to the Emergency Care department. Youll also provide administrative support to the Clinical team as requested.

About You

Youll be working alongside a very diverse team of health care extraordinaries in the busiest Emergency Department in Australasia Its a fast-paced environment, so youll need to be prepared to pull on your roller-skates while using your can do positive attitude.

  • 23 years of customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong computer and administrative skills
  • Calm under pressure and deadline-focused
  • Healthcare experience is a bonus (but full training will be provided)
