Audit Portfolio Manager

As a senior member of our Internal Audit team, you'll help deliver independent, trusted assurance to our Board Committees and help to shape a strong, resilient risk and control environment across Suncorp.

What You'll Lead

Step into a pivotal new leadership position where you will:

• Design and drive a risk-based annual audit plan through delivery of high-quality, insight-rich audits across Suncorp.
• Inspire and grow a high-performing team, fostering collaboration, cohesion, and continuous learning.
• Support our key strategic working group enablers, high performance drivers, supporting our people and advancing our technology.
• Champion best practice, developing an assurance function recognised for excellence across the Group.

What You'll Bring

To thrive in this role, you'll have:

• 10+ years' experience in Financial Services, Internal or External Audit.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting, auditing and/or risk management, aligned with IIA standards.
• Deep, current understanding of the insurance sector and its key risks.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex risk and control themes into meaningful business insights.
• Proven stakeholder influence, including experience reporting at Board Committee level.
• Degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Legal or Business.
• A relevant professional designation such as Chartered Accountant, CIA or equivalent.
