Are you passionate about helping young people re-engage in learning and reach their full potential?
NorthAble Matapuna Hauora is seeking a compassionate and motivated Te Ako Manaaki Attendance Case Manager to join our Attendance Services team.
In this pivotal role, you'll work closely with schools, whānau, and community partners to develop and implement tailored education and care plans for tamariki and rangatahi experiencing attendance challenges.
You'll connect people and services, ensuring that every young person referred to The Attendance Service receives the coordinated support they need to thrive in education.
- Work collaboratively with schools, agencies, and whānau to develop and monitor attendance and engagement plans.
- Track progress and refine plans to ensure positive outcomes for each student.
- Support Attendance Mentors and contribute to a strong, collaborative team environment.
- Identify wider attendance issues and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate data and evaluation records using CMS systems.
You'll bring experience in education, youth services, or social work — and a heart for empowering young people. You're a skilled communicator and natural collaborator who can build trust with schools, service providers, and whānau alike.
We're looking for someone who demonstrates:
- Strong coordination and planning skills.
- Excellent relationship management and communication abilities.
- Experience supporting or supervising others.
- Confidence with data and evaluation tools.
- A commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.
- Alignment with NorthAble's person-centred values and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
- Full, clean driver's licence (manual and automatic).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and pass a Police vetting process.
At NorthAble, we are dedicated to creating positive change for ākonga, whānau, and communities. You'll be part of a values-driven organisation making a real impact across Te Tai Tokerau — with supportive colleagues, ongoing professional development, and opportunities to grow.
