700 cows | 215 effective ha | System 3–4 | Flat, well-set farm in the Eastern Bay of Plenty

This Lower Order Sharemilker position on a 700-cow, 215ha effective dairy platform near Edgecumbe offers an exciting opportunity to partner with fourth-generation owners who value people, performance and progress.

With strong infrastructure, reliable irrigation and a top 5% herd nationally, the platform is well-set to deliver best-practice, profitable and sustainable results while showing that you are a true custodian of the whenua.

This Lower-Order Sharemilking role is a gem, one that will be sought after. To stand out you will have Contract Milking or large-scale Farm Management experience alongside the below attributes:

  • Organised and technically competent, being a thorough operator comes as second nature. You will have proven experience in delivering on core indicators through operational excellence in feed and pasture, animal, people and environmental management.
  • A confident leader and communicator, able to create a team environment that no-one wants to leave and everyone wants to be a part of. One that embraces and values the development of their team.
  • You are an analyser, someone who looks at the wider business, competent with financial management and can identify opportunities to fine tune an already successful operation.
  • Hands-on and proactive, taking pride in maintaining a tidy farm and infrastructure. Open to lending the farm to industry events and giving back to the local community.
